RWU students with their Corporate Partner representatives at the 2015 Corporate Scholars Reception.

The fifth annual Corporate Scholars Reception was held on October 21, 2015 in appreciation for participating business leaders and student scholars. More than 80 corporate donors, students, faculty and University administrators gathered to celebrate this initiative that provides critical financial assistance to undergraduate students attending RWU. This unique program directs annual support from local and regional businesses to students studying in a wide range of disciplines. This annual reception provides students with the opportunity to meet industry leaders in their aspiring professions.

INVESTING IN TOMORROW’S LEADERS TODAY.

The Corporate Scholars Program is a unique initiative designed to offer businesses a distinctive role in supporting promising students who need financial assistance in order to pursue their educational goals. Roger Williams University provides more than 95% of its students with some form of financial aid. Still, the cost of education is on the rise nationally, and the need for additional scholarship resources continues to grow.

By supporting the Roger Williams University Annual Fund through the Corporate Scholars Program, your business will make a sound investment in the education of today’s students and their educational achievements as tomorrow’s leaders. Your commitment will lay the foundation for their success as they become productive citizens of the communities in which they live and work.

Please support the Corporate Scholars Program at Roger Williams University and help a qualified student afford the education they so deserve. Gifts to the program are welcomed at all levels and will be recognized in a variety of ways. For every Leadership gift of $1,000 or more, a student will be identified and awarded a scholarship in your company’s name. In addition, representatives from your business will have the opportunity to meet your Corporate Scholar at an appreciation ceremony. Sponsorships are renewable annually and you may choose to designate your support to students studying in a particular academic area of your choosing.

For more information and to participate in the Corporate Scholars Program, please contact Christine Parker, Chief Development Officer at (401) 254-3205 or cparker@rwu.edu.
