    Priorities

Roger Williams University is a leading independent, coeducational university with programs in the liberal arts and the professions, where students become community- and globally-minded citizens through project-based, experiential learning. The University's fundraising priorities are focused on a dedication to the success of students through a commitment to a set of core values, the pursuit of Affordable Excellence and by providing an educational experience that is relevant, accessible and affordable.

One of the hallmarks of an RWU education is the opportunity for students - at both the undergraduate and graduate levels - to engage in meaningful, project-based educational experiences which address real community needs through coursework, team projects, scholarships, internships and externships. The Roger Williams University Community Partnerships Center (CPC) is a centralized home to an array of RWU resources from within RWU’s liberal arts and professional degree programs, as well as from strong relationships with external organizations. Through the CPC, these resources are organized and made available to a wide spectrum of non-profit, municipal and community groups to carry out projects throughout Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.

By supporting RWU with your philanthropic donations, you are helping to preserve and improve an institution that is helping generations of young men and women on their own paths of professional and personal growth.  In addition to Affordable Excellence and the CPC, the University has identified key priority areas requiring on-going support, including; capital projects, scholarships, faculty support and research. In addition, the University offers opportunities to support special campaigns and program initiatives.
